San Diego director's Mike Caro, and his wife, Lorraine, enjoy making their deliveries, helping hungry veterans in the city of San Diego. Perishables are purchased with cash from a local supermarket, plus a visit to the food bank and our storage facility, to make it all come together. MIKE AND LORRAINE CARO COMMITTED TO THE CAUSE WITH MONTHLY DELIVERIES

Thank you VFW 3788 for your support, we were able to consistently deliver food each month to in-need veterans in the San Diego area. The 4th year was challenging but we still have a pantry at the generous VFW Post 377 in Kearny Mesa, CA. There were minimal outside cash donations this year a piece of the business we are still mastering. The available funds were as always spent on fresh meat and vegetables to be included in our food packages. Food Drives have been very helpful in augmenting our balanced meal approach.
